first time mom! two questions.. please help?
My son is barely 1 week and a day old.
In the first few days, he would sleep pretty much all night and just wake up when he was hungry but now he’s awake and crying all night and quiet and asleep all afternoon!
Is there anyway I can change his sleeping patterns without you know, bothering him?
I know he is only a week old.
I’m a first time mom too, so can anyone give me any tips/advice on newborns?
advice on breastfeeding?
its hard for him to latch but he gets it when he isn’t frustrated.

Sorry I dont have a clue on breastfeeding. But as far as the baby being up all night. Best thing you can do is try to keep him awake during the day a little more. Talk to him, or anything else that will keep his attention. It’s rough when newborns do this. During the day when he sleeps though- take a nap at the same time. You probably hear that a lot.
